I’m starting this post with a shameless plug. If you haven’t seen it, I talk about where my Disney obsession stems from here. Plus, all of my Disney-related posts can be found at the top of the page, or here. Okay… now we’ve gotten that out of the way. Once I exclaimed my Disney joy to the world, I found myself coming across more fellow-Disney lovers. Their vlogs, blogs, and posts have inspired me. Therefore, I am outlining my Disney Bucket List. Let’s get to it!
Visit Every Disney Park Around the World
This should be on every true Disney enthusiast’s list. In fact, I’ve given myself 3 years to accomplish this goal. By 2021, I want to have visited EVERY single Disney park around the world. I will look forward to the day that I can check this off my Disney bucket list. I’ve only been to Disney World, and I have an upcoming trip to Disneyland in a couple of months. (The formal announcement and post(s) for preparation are coming soon.)
The goal is to visit Disneyland Paris next summer, and within the 2-year period, visit the 3 Asian parks. Do I want to visit these parks more than once? Absolutely! For now, though, I am settling for just getting to all of them once. Plus, I want to do a VIP tour at every park (if it’s possible).
Become a Disney Vacation Club Member
Anything that requires financing will definitely require serious thought and commitment. Frankly, I’m not at this phase in my life, yet. BUT… there’s always tomorrow. I’ve been intrigued by the Disney Vacation Club for a while. I finally looked into it, and it is an investment that speaks to me, especially because of my love for Disney. Once I’m more stable and settled into my career, I will definitely be joining the club.
Collect Pandora Charms for a Bracelet
The Disney x Pandora collection has captured my heart quickly. For my upcoming birthday (less than 2 months away), I will begin my charm collection. Plus, I will make it a point to buy a charm or two everytime I visit the parks.Β I want a Disney-princess inspired ring, too, but the focus, for now, is the charm bracelet. I’ll make sure to document my efforts as I begin and grow. Once I fill up a bracelet, I can embark on a new jewelry goal.
Become a Disney Pin Trader & Collector
I am obsessed with this trend of pin trading and collecting. I have come across several YouTubers that frequently post about the newest, latest, and greatest Disney pins. I have become so excited to begin my collection. Since I have learned from the various pin traders and collectors, I feel ready to go down this rabbit hole (haha, get it?). I have already started looking into pins that I need, I have joined pin-trading groups, and my blank collection is ready to become filled. I’m so excited to begin!
Become an Annual Passholder
It may not make much sense to want to be a pass holder and vacation club member. However, I need to crawl before I walk. Therefore, I would want to be a pass holderΒ first. I’ve been thinking about gifting myself an annual pass for Christmas. I want to make sure that I have the whole 2019 dedicated to being able to visit multiple times. I’m already working on a Spring Break trip with friends. Plus, the discounts that I could get with the pass is wonderful. Going more than once makes the value worth it alone (for more than 3-4 days), and I could allocate further savings to doing VIP tours.
Own 100+ Disney (and Disney-related) Books
While most people would not include books on such a list, and because of my obsession with books, I am still adding this to my Disney bucket list. I am almost halfway to this goal. As a proud (and new) English teacher, I have an emphasis to include fun, adventurous and appealing books to my classroom library. Plus, I am a bookworm myself, so I love getting new books.
This collection brings two of my loves together. Books + Disney = A Magical Combination! Disney Publishing is always coming out with new, more exciting books, and it’s becoming hard to keep up on my own. Thus, I have followed Disney Books on Instagram. I find new books, and I order them. The favorite books in my collection (currently) would be the Disney Villains Series (which I talk about in my Summer Reading List). Update: These books are phenomenally written!
Amass a Collection of Disney DVDs (Or Digital Copies)
By this point, you probably believe that I am obsessed with becoming a hoarder with this Disney bucket list. Though it seems like the case, I will neither confirm nor deny it. I struggle with deciding if I want physical copies or digital copies of movies. Technology is forever changing and expanding, and I don’t want to find myself having to keep buying the same movies over and over.
I had a lot of Disney VHS tapes that I’ve lost because of the DVD players. Now there are Blu-Ray players. My collection is about half-and-half so far, between DVDs and Digital Editions. Personally, I think I would rather invest in the digital copies because I love the ability to be able to watch the movies anywhere. Either way, I want to be able to watch my favorite Disney and Pixar movies at a moment’s notice.
Share the Disney Love with the Next Generation
I can somewhat cross this off of my list. My niece is two and she has more things Disney than I can imagine. She has her own collection of Disney toys, books, clothing, cups, etc. Her mother loves Minnie Mouse, so she was born with Minnie Mouse everything. It was pure destiny for her to be a Disney baby. In fact, she will be joining our upcoming Disneyland trip.
Again, this is an unorthodox element to add to my Disney bucket list, BUT it’s important to me. When I explained my Disney obsession, I talked about the role that my mother played in my love for Disney. I feel compelled to pay the love forward and keep it going. Since I’m not a mother, yet, I will continue looping my niece into my Disney love. (She says she’s excited to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse… they’re her favorite. Also, I’ve been teaching her the different Disney princesses.) Then, one day, I will share it with my children.
Collect Disney Toys and Plushies
Back to this hoarding thing, huh? Well… the plushies are adorable, what can I say? While it seems like I could easily amass a room full, there are only select characters that I am interested in owning. I don’t have to have every Disney plush created. Frankly, I can do without owning a lot of characters, BUT for the ones that I do love, I want to own a figurine, toy, or plush. Plus, I will be incorporating some of these into my classroom decor and to be “book buddies” for my students.
You’ve Made It to the End!
Thank you for making it this far! Now, we’ve made it to the point where I want to hear from you. What goal(s) is (are) on your Disney bucket list? When do you hope to achieve it/them? Or, is there something that stood out to you from my list? Let me know in the comments below. Also, if you could share the love by sharing this post on a social media platform, it would be greatly appreciated. Until next time!

Isn’t it? I wish it were mine. Thank you!
That’s a great goal! And those collection are so beautiful
Those princess charms are SO CUTE and the books are gorgeous!
Agreed! They’re beautiful. π
I love that you have a Disney Specific Bucket list! I have been a few times before I had kids, and one I have for my son is to stay late and go on Thunder Mountain in the dark! It is one of my favorite memories.
Thank you so much! I’ve heard about riding it at night, so I will definitely try that, too π
Disney is all about imagination and happiness, especially the traditional princess and oldies movies I grew up with. I definitely want my kiddos to learn a little but about Disney and what it’s all about. We have yet to go and enjoy Disneyland/world with my family(hubby, 2 kiddos and 1 on the way).
When you do go, I’m sure you will all definitely appreciate the memories. On the plus side, the movies work just as well. My niece LOVES to watch Disney movies. (Moana is currently her favorite movie.)
Oh that pandora bracelet is everything
Recent Post: Afternoon Tea
I’ve got to say, the DVD collection is beautifully arranged. Fine goal to have. I never go enough to become a pin trader.
I don’t really go often, either, but there are so many pin traders online.
That Pandora bracelet is adorable! I’ve been getting back into Disney lately so this post is everything!
It really is beautiful. I’m glad you enjoyed the post. π
How fun! What a great review and round up of your bucket list.
We aren’t the kind of family to go to Disney every single year but I could definitely get on board with visiting every Disney park around the world! So much fun
What a fun Disney themed bucket list! I’ve been to Dl and DW so far and both are so fun!
